The theme for the weekend: I have called you by name, you are mine. from Isaiah 43:1. In the first few verses of Isaiah, we are told, in a few short words that we are God’s children. He has called us, laid claim to us – we ARE His! How much more comforting can you get in this problem filled world? In addition, Isaiah tells us that the Lord will be with us always both during the good as well as the bad. If you have never attended a Via De Christo weekend, the men and women of the Team of Mixed # 62, invite you to join them in rejoicing over this promise from God and further renew your faith and connection to God. It will be a wonderful time to take a break from the pressures of 21st century life and experience God’s Grace amoung a group of caring Christians. Have you heard God calling you?
