TENNESSEE SECRETARIAT BEGINS TO TAKE SHAPE
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
De Colores Y'all. Your Tennessee family in Christ just wanted to let you
know what was going on here and to ask you for some much needed prayer support.
Joe and I have been in Tennessee almost two years now. And as I write this,
we are preparing for the huge job of helping to create a Tennessee Secretariat.
We are just a small part of the plan. There are people involved with this
project from Nashville to Knoxville and throughout western North Carolina.
The Lord has blessed us with a mission and commitment from many people to grow
the Via de Cristo this direction.
This is what you can do... PRAY, PRAY, PRAY. We are experiencing all the growing
pains associated with creating a new governing body and preparing to do the work
of God in a thousand different ways. And your prayer support is critical.
We are preparing to serve on three western North Carolina weekends in the spring of
'97 in order to get team experience and see if we have enough people to support
ourselves when the time comes. The exciting news is that in the fall of '97
our brothers and sisters in North Carolina will be hosting one or more weekends
here in Tennessee. We will supply the people power and they will supply the
expertise. God will supply the Spirit and the guests and every other thing we
need. You can supply the prayer.
We are all very excited about this new beginning. And we hope that you will be
too. But most of all, I hope that you will remember us daily in your prayers for
if we ask, we shall receive.
